How Does Bridge Compare to Shopify?

I created this comparison to help us see the differences between Shopify (shown on the left) and Bridge Store.

The orange dots represent comparable features.
The magenta dots represent features that Bridge offers out of the box but that Shopify is lacking.
  1. Bridge displays the search box by default. Shopify makes you click on the search icon.
  2. Bridge displays the telephone number at the top of the page. Shopify does not. Customers most often seek a phone number on a business’ website.
  3. Bridge outputs stats in the upper right. These stats show important buying info such as the number or products offered and the number of brands offered.
  4. Bridge comes with an online registry, and promotes it in the upper right.  Shopify does not include registry software.
  5. Bridge includes marketing programs by default, such as $30 bonus to complete 5 steps.
  6. Bridge by default organizes products by brand and department, those navigation choices exist in the horizontal navigation by default.  When one opens a Shopify store, there are zero brands. One has to add any and all brands. Bridge offers businesses a directory of 2,700+ brands, and products from 110 Smart Brand partners.
  7. Bridge includes default slides. Shopify does not; one must add any and all slides.
  8. Bridge includes a ‘contact card’: this contact card includes the telephone number, messaging link, address, stores hour, news link, and review link. Shopify does not have a contact card, and does not offer review software by default.
  9. Bridge encourages contacting business by messaging store or writing on the store’s home page.
