I created this comparison to help us see the differences between Shopify (shown on the left) and Bridge Store.

The orange dots represent comparable features.
The magenta dots represent features that Bridge offers out of the box but that Shopify is lacking.
  1. Bridge displays the search box by default. Shopify makes you click on the search icon.
  2. Bridge displays the telephone number at the top of the page. Shopify does not. Customers most often seek a phone number

RETAILERS
We're increasing your registry's 5-step incentive amount.

We're raising it to $50. It was previously $40. If you wish to raise or lower your amount, please do so on the Your Account page.

If you are offering an amount that is not $40 (aka you have changed it from the default), your incentive amount will not be changed to the $50.

Why are we increasing the default amount? A higher incentive amount results in more brides promoting their registry with your store....Read more of post

Your 5-step registry incentive is now: $40.

Bridge has updated the default incentive for brides that complete the 5 steps from $30 to $40.

If you have changed this amount to an amount other than the default $30, this will not affect your account.

Bridge updated the incentive amount to $40 in order to get more brides to promote your business. We are at war with Amazon, Zola, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Target. We have to give brides all the motivation we can to ...Read more of post

How successful is your 5-step incentive program for brides? In at least 94% of registries, stores benefited. In just 6% of cases did a bride complete all the 5 steps and the store gave the bride an in-store gift card.

Notably, even when a bride does complete all 5 steps and receives the in-store gift card, the store still wins because the bride provided publicity for the store, helped the store's Google ranking, and likely directed $1,000s worth of business to the store...Read more of post

This week a bride praised our 5-step incentive program for brides like her. H. Hal Garner Antiques & Interiors offers brides a $50 incentive to complete 5 steps that boost business for the retailer. The bride remarked:

I loved the H Hal Garner experience! I personally loved the extra tips I got on all of the new products that I did not know about. I thought I had my mind made up on everything but I loved all of the new pieces. I had such a ball with my future mother in ...Read more of post

You work hard to get a bride to register at your store. But then the wedding date approaches and nothing has been sold. Why is this?
The single biggest reason is that the bride has not linked her wedding website (e.g. theknot.com) to her registry on your website. If the bride doesn't link the two, you'll sell very little. Your mission: link the two. You can read how to do it by clicking the link below or I can call you and walk you through it. My email is: [email protected]Read more of post
